A Day to Celebrate Our Marina Community
On Saturday, 23 May, we hosted our annual berthholders’ barbecue at Malahide Marina, and once again the day could not have gone better. We were treated to beautiful weather, great food, drinks, snacks, and, most importantly, brilliant company from the people who make our marina what it is.
A great day by the water
The barbecue had all the ingredients of a proper Malahide Marina day: sunshine, relaxed conversations, and a warm atmosphere from start to finish. A big thank you goes to our chefs, Janis and Robbie, whose food was a highlight as always, and to everyone who came along and helped make the event such a success
Events like this are a reminder of the fantastic community we are lucky to have here. It is a community that welcomes new berthholders, supports the regulars, and is always ready with advice, a helping hand, or simply a friendly chat over coffee at Coffee Cat.
A community that makes the marina
At Malahide Marina, we have always believed that a marina is more than a place to berth a boat. It is a place where people connect, share experience, and look out for one another, and that spirit was on full display at the barbecue.
We want to thank every berthholder who joined us, whether you have been with us for years or have only recently become part of the marina family. Each of you helped make the day memorable, and we are genuinely proud of the community we have built together.
New boat sales area
The event also marked the launch of our new boat sales area, where we will be showcasing both our new boats and our brokerage listings. It is a great place for customers to browse what is available and keep an eye on future opportunities at the marina. We also want to invite all our customers to visit the area from time to time, especially if you know someone who is looking for a boat. If a recommendation leads to a successful sale, we will have a very nice gift as a thank-you.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part in the event and helped create such a memorable day. From our long-standing berthholders to our newest arrivals, every one of you contributed to the atmosphere that makes Malahide Marina feel special.
