Yard Rules and Information

All vessels in the yard are bound by the Malahide Marina Village Terms and Conditions which are available on our website or in the reception. 

Please read the following rules carefully which must be adhered to whilst the vessel is ashore. These rules are for the safety and care of all vessels stored ashore.

  1. Access to the yard is permitted between the hours of 8.15 am to 7.30 pm
  2. The boat cradles / props must NOT be adjusted by the customer unless permission is arranged with yard staff.
  3. No pressure washing / grinding / sanding / spraying / hot work permitted in the yard due to potential damage / dirtying of other vessels.
  4. No vehicles permitted in the yard. Trolleys are available to help bring tools and parts to and from the vessel. Please ensure to leave trolleys clean after each use.
  5. No digging in the yard under any circumstances
  6. Vessels are stored in the yard under the vessel’s own insurance and must remain insured for the duration of the stay.
  7. All contractors must sign in at the office prior to going to the vessel and must present a copy of their insurance and health and safety statement to the office. Contractors must sign in and out each time they visit the site.
  8. The area around and under your vessel must remain clean and clear at all times.
  9. All invoices must be paid in full prior to re-launching/leaving the yard
  10. No advertising or soliciting of products or services permitted on site
  11. Staying onboard the vessel whilst in the yard is not permitted at any time.
  12. Electricity available but must be requested in the office prior to plugging in
  13. All waste must be correctly disposed. Large items or large quantities will be subject to a surcharge
  14. Please ensure you have your own ladder to access your boat. Malahide Marina do not provide ladders to customers unless prior arrangement is made.
