Every year, on 1st April, we begin a new year at Malahide Marina. And with the start of each new marina year comes something we have grown to look forward to: the launch of our annual marina booklet.
It might seem like a small thing, but this booklet represents something we feel is worth keeping.
Years ago, printed marina booklets were an essential part of marina life. They brought together all the information boat owners needed, from useful contacts and marina facilities to practical information, services and everything worth knowing about their home port.
They were something you could keep on board, leave in the cockpit or pick up whenever you needed a quick reference.
But, as the world became increasingly digital, this little tradition gradually started to disappear. More and more information moved online, and printed guides became less common.
Bringing a little tradition back
Last year, we decided it was time to bring that tradition back to Malahide Marina.
Because while we embrace all the advantages of digital technology, we also believe there is something special about having information in your hands. A printed booklet has a different feel. It is practical, familiar and a lovely reminder of the marina community we are all part of.
That is why we wanted to keep it alive.
Our annual booklet brings together useful marina information in one place, giving our berthholders something they can refer to throughout the year.

We know that not everyone likes to carry a printed booklet around, and that's perfectly fine!
