On Saturday, 17th May, we welcomed the summer season in style with our annual Berthholders’ BBQ—a special day dedicated to celebrating the heart of our marina: you, our incredible community.
This year, the focus was on connection—bringing together the Malahide Marina family in a safe, welcoming space where we could enjoy the freedom and joy that only the sea can provide.
A Morning on the Water
We kicked off the day with an unforgettable Social Boat Trip around the stunning Lambay Island. Blessed with fantastic weather, a flotilla of RIBs, powerboats, and sailing yachts set out together to explore one of Ireland’s most scenic marine landscapes.
There’s nothing quite like sharing an adventure at sea with people who understand the magic of the ocean. It was a perfect start—beautiful views, rich wildlife, and great company.
Back to Shore for BBQ Delights
After our mini maritime adventure, we returned to Malahide Marina where the BBQ was already heating up! From sizzling grills and chilled drinks to tasty snacks and lively music, the atmosphere was full of energy, laughter, and good vibes.
But what truly made the event special was the sense of unity. Seeing our berthholders come together—sharing stories, smiles, and a deep respect for one another—reminded us why this community is so unique.
A Growing Community
The success of this event is thanks to each and every one of you. It was a joy to witness new friendships forming, boats being admired, and a marina full of life.
